Hello, We would like to welcome you to our website. Thank you for taking an interest in our canine family, whom I consider God's Gentle Giants. My husband(Melvin) and I(Cassandra) along with our 8 year old son,(Kevin) live on a 200 acre farm in Northwest Missouri. We raise some cattle and have a few horses and then of course our beloved Great Danes, along with a chocolate lab, a Shar Pei, a little Beagle Puppy(our son's) and my old friend, Holly (17 year old Mutt gotten at a local Humane Society 16 years ago) in which are all are very much a big part of the family.
Our Great Danes consist of Casey, he is a Merlequin with ice blue eyes that melts your heart. Casey was our first Dane and we absolutely fell in love with him and became very attached to this noble breed and in turn got our next Dane, a merle female we named Windy, she is very loving and now is in a very good home in Nebraska. We then purchased another, this one being a very beautiful show marked harlequin we named Brandy, she steals your heart with her presence. The next Dane we got is Jasper a very pretty blue harlequin with green eyes that is very loving and gentle, Jasper is with a good friend of ours that has Cancer. Next, is a handsome harlequin male we named Lance that loves to play with our son and keeps us laughing by his puppyish ways. We then added two exceptional females, a very well bred Mantle, Gracie. Then a niece to both Windy and Brandy, a very pretty Harlequin, our little Maggy May. We have recently added a new handsome male Harlequin, MAX, he has german in his blood line and we expect great things from him. He is one laid back pup. We have just gotten a new Harlequin to complete our studs his name is Chance and he will be a very handsome Harlequin. He is 1/2 German and 1/2 American. We expect very wonderful things from both of these guys. All our Danes are considered part of the family, so much that my son considers them his brothers and sisters.
All our Danes are raised in our home as pups until they are 8-10 months old, in which they are given a room of their own in the "Dog House". I raised all of them since they were weaned except Gracie (got her at 6 months of age), and house trained each. I got them as pups so I would know how their disposition would be. They are all well socialized with many types of animals and people always being around. They all love to run and play on our 200 acres but they usually stay around us at the house or go visit the cattle and horses in the pasture near our house. Our 4 year old gelding loves their company and usually waits at the gate for them.
They are under the care of a wonderful veterinarian, Mr. Paul Stonum DVM, that ensures the best of care for each. They are all vaccinated and de-wormed on a regular schedule. We are feeding our adult Danes, Country Vet- Dog Fuel Large Breed Dog Food. We will be feeding the puppies Country Vet -Dog Fuel Large Breed Adult formula also when weaning. We strongly recommend that when considering a Great Dane puppy from us that you keep them happy and healthy by keeping them on a regular vaccination and worming schedule and feed them with a premium dog food formulated for large breeds.
